Carmex has long been a favorite brand of mine for lip care, but did you know that they also have some wonderfully, moisturizing skin care products as well?

Carmex has two great choices in skin care, their Healing Cream mimics your skin’s natural lipid layer to maximize healing, while petrolatum and allantoin softens rough skin. Their Hydrating Lotion is loaded with vitamin E and ultra-concentrated aloe vera to sooth skin and deliver super hydration, without greasiness, perfect for everyday usI

I really like the way they feel going on and I love the fact that they are both non-greasy and fast absorbing. I can’t stand for a moisturizer to leave my skin feeling greasy or sticky. I also like the fact that both products are long lasting, I didn’t need to reapply every 20 mins, like with some other creams that seem to disappear as quick as you put them on.

I really like pretty much everything about Carmex Hydrating Lotion and Healing Cream, and I highly recommend them for anyone who needs a good moisturizer, the ONLY thing I would change about them would be the scent (I am VERY picky when it comes to scents) when I first apply then the scent almost has a slight plastic smell…but it does fade soon after. I would just love them even more if they were completely unscented or had a “green” scent to them, but that could just be me! Try them for yourself to see what you think!

I have been a fan of Carmex products for years so it is a great honor for me to be a part of the Carmex Blog Squad.  The awesome thing is that as a member of this awesome squad I get to test and review new product that Carmex releases and share my findings with you!

Carmex newest fab duo is their Lime Twist and Vanilla click sticks!

These awesome lip treats both not only glide on smooth and sheer with a hint of moist shine, but they also contain sunscreen SPF 15 to protect your lips from the suns harmful rays.  Both have a very mild flavor and scent, not overwhelming or perfumey. These also contain all of the same wonderful moisturizing ingredients that you have come to know and love from the Carmex line, but these two ALSO have 3 additional moisturizers not found in the original line for even more lip loving moisture!

I was very happy with the way these lip balms, from the way they glide on, the scent, the taste, the way may lips looked way moister than before, and with how long the moisture lasted!

Carmex, being the awesome company that they are,  also sent me the coolest picnic blanket! It comes all folded up with a little handle to carry it, and when opened up it is the perfect grass or sand throw blanket! It is soft and cozy fleece on one side and has a moisture resistant backing, so your bum wont get all wet sitting on that lush grass!

The blanket opens to 51″ x  59″! Cute, right?

So, after testing these 2 new Carmex products and being so very pleased with them, I give Lime Twist and Vanilla two thumbs up!  (although I Lime Twist was my fave!)

Happy Aloha Friday My Friends!

As the days of summer fade fast into fall, back to school, back to work, back to the hustle… the memories of summer will stay with us long after..

As I get ready to start another school/work year,  I stop to reflect on the wonderful memories of this past summer, BBQs, staying up late, relaxing with friends, going to the movies, and lounging around all day just for the heck of it …I love summer.

This is the first summer that I didn’t take holidays with the boy, and although I missed him like crazy- it was good, I got a lot done that I might not of if I were hanging out with him.

So as we say “Aloha: (farewell) to another gorgeous summer, I would love to hear your awesome memories of summer, the ones you will carry with you to warm your fall and winter days to come.
